Objectives
The Qur’an memorization programs aim at achieving the following
objectives:
-
Imparting
Qur’an memorization lessons in Mosques and Qur’an circles.
- Raising the standards of the teachers of the
Holy Book and its learners.
- Enhancing the methodology of teaching and
memorizing the Holy Qur’an.
- Supporting Qur’an memorization societies and
institutes morally and materially.
- Distributing audio-visual copies of the Holy
Qur’an, and dispatching scholars to lead the ‘Taraweeh’ prayers
during the month of Ramadan.
Means of achievement
-
Setting
up and subsidizing Qur’anic schools as well as institutes and
teachers.
- Improving the conditions of dilapidated
Qur’an circles and putting up new circles.
- Employing supervisors to oversee the running
of the Qur’an circles.
- Setting up specialized Qur’an institutes and
schools.
- Organizing refresher courses to raise the
standards of Qur’an teachers.
- Holding local as well as regional Qur’an
competitions and passing out ceremonies.
- Undertaking fact finding tour of the Qur’an
circles by IIROSA representatives.
- Conducting and formulating specialized
curricula of learning for the Qur’an centers and circles. The
Prophet, peace be on him, said: “The best among you is he who learns
the Qur’an and teaches it”.
